The obtained results show that the raised hypotheses are void since none of the factors affects the academic performanc of the university students.La presente investigación pretende conocer de qué manera afectan los factores socioeconómicos en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes universitarios de la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), con el objetivo de determinar cuál es la causa del bajo rendimiento académico. Se trabajó con una muestra de 60 estudiantes, a los cuales se les aplicó una encuesta que consta de 21 preguntas de opción múltiple.
