This research attempts to identify the economic, cultural and institutional factors that influence the adoption of new technologies by rural women.El estudio analiza los procesos que se desenvuelven en sectores de pequeñas productoras de alimentos, que inducidas por su relevante contacto con el mercado fluctuante y mundializado, que actualmente revalora los alimentos andinos, están in troduciendo prácticas tecnológicas nuevas en su manejo agrícola, en el procesamiento de productos y en su comercialización.
