As part of the gold that has been worked, deficiencies and lack of other methods is lost in the tailings. In this research some general concepts of gold will be from the point of view of production and its impact on our exports, study the grain size of the gravel in general and gold in particular, important parameters related to the size distribution used to recommend the most convenient and appropriate method to optimize metallurgical results. Also gravimetric amalgamate concentrated to quantify the efficiency of the method.El oro aluvial o procedente de los lavaderos o ríos es un importante generador de fuentes de trabajo y de riqueza. Actualmente para su beneficio se usa métodos artesanales y en algunos casos maquinaria pesada pero con resultados muy pobres sobre todo en recuperación (menor a 50%). Por lo que una parte del oro que ya ha sido trabajado, por deficiencias y desconocimiento de otros métodos se pierde en los relaves. En este trabajo de investigación se verá algunos conceptos generales del oro desde el punto de vista productivo y su incidencia en nuestra exportaciones, estudiaremos la granulometría de la grava en general y del oro en particular, parámetros importantes referentes a la distribución por tamaños que sirven para recomendar el método más conveniente y apropiado para optimizar los resultados metalúrgicos.
