This article analyzes one of the discriminatory discourses that has recently acquired special relevance in the Peruvian national context: cyberterruqueo. The aim is to carry out a descriptive analysis of the phenomenon —from the political-ideological and ethnic, racial and cultural perspectives—, and to study, in the context of cyberspace, the hegemonic representations that are discursively created with respect to certain sectors of the population. Methodologically, the study has an exploratory qualitative approach. The study of these representations was based on the occurrence of this phenomenon within the framework of the Twitter social network, and the data for the analysis were collected from Twitter. Among the results, it was found that cyberterruqueo functions as a tool of social annihilation and stigmatization that is based on negative representations in order to achieve the invalidation or delegitimization of certain sectors of the population and their demands and needs, in favor of the perpetuation and domination of a hegemonic sector or establishment and its agenda. The article concludes, in turn, that virtual space and the social interactions it comprises are a reflection of reality, and that it allows for the production, reproduction and socialization of certain hegemonic representations configured in the discourse. |

El objetivo es realizar —desde los enfoques político-ideológico, así como étnico, racial y cultural— un análisis descriptivo sobre el fenómeno, y estudiar, en el marco del ciberespacio, las representaciones hegemónicas que se crean discursivamente respecto a determinados sectores de la población. Metodológicamente, el estudio es de enfoque cualitativo de nivel exploratorio. El análisis de estas representaciones se ha basado en la ocurrencia de este fenómeno en el marco de la red social de Twitter y los datos para la investigación se recopilaron de la misma. Entre los resultados se encontró que el ciberterruqueo funge como una herramienta de aniquilación social y estigmatización que se sostiene sobre representaciones negativas a fin de conseguir la invalidación o deslegitimación de ciertos sectores de la población y de sus reclamos y necesidades, en favor de la perpetuación y dominación de un sector hegemónico o establishment y su agenda. El artículo concluye, a su vez, que el espacio virtual y las interacciones sociales que comprende son el reflejo de la realidad, y que este permite la producción, reproducción y socialización de determinadas representaciones hegemónicas configuradas en el discurso.Este artigo analisa um dos discursos discriminatórios que adquiriu recentemente especial relevância no contexto nacional peruano: o ciberterruqueo. O objectivo é realizar uma análise descritiva do fenómeno —a partir de uma perspectiva político-ideológica, bem como étnica, racial e cultural—, e estudar, no contexto do ciberespaço, as representações hegemónicas criadas discursivamente em relação a determinados sectores da população. Metodologicamente, o estudo tem uma abordagem qualitativa exploratória. O estudo destas representações foi baseado na ocorrência deste fenómeno no âmbito da rede social Twitter, e os dados para a análise foram recolhidos do Twitter. Entre os resultados, verificou-se que o ciberterruqueo funciona como um instrumento de aniquilação e estigmatização social que se baseia em representações negativas a fim de conseguir a invalidação ou a deslegitimação de certos sectores da população e das suas exigências e necessidades, a favor da perpetuação e dominação de um sector ou establishment hegemónico e da sua agenda.
