The results indicate that, in general terms, the self-esteem of the workers is low, while in regards to demographic variables (sex, marital status, level of study and years of residence) significant differences in self-esteem were found to exist.Este trabajo trata de conocer la autoestima de los trabajadores de una universidad pública del interior del país y su relación con algunas variables demográficas y sociales, en una muestra de 33% de la población total. Los resultados encontrados indican que en términos generales la autoestima de los trabajadores es baja.
