For this, the research is based on what is understood by bilingualism, in addition, a survey is applied to a certain group of parents and it is concluded that the family is important for the social learning of the Kichwa language.Muitas teorias de aprendizado de idiomas foram projetadas para desenvolver habilidades linguísticas em qualquer idioma. Este artigo analisa a aprendizagem da língua Kichwa na família, particularmente em famílias migrantes que vivem na cidade de Quito, capital do Equador. Para isso, a pesquisa se baseia no que se entende por bilinguismo, além disso, aplica-se uma pesquisa a um determinado grupo de pais e concluise que a família é importante para o aprendizado social da língua Kichwa.Muchas teorías sobre el aprendizaje de las lenguas se han diseñado para desarrollar las competencias lingüísticas en cualquier idioma. El presente artículo hace un análisis del aprendizaje de la lengua kichwa en la familia, particularmente, en las familias migrantes que viven en la ciudad de Quito, capital del Ecuador. Para ello, se fundamenta la investigación en lo que se entiende por bilingüismo. Metodológicamente, se aplica una encuesta a un grupo determinado de padres de familia.
