The idea of the evolutionary character of Popperian ideas about knowledge, in general, and scientific knowledge in particular, will be defended, with special attention to how Darwin's theory of evolution plays a very important role in the development of an Popperian evolutionary epistemology. It begins with an exposition on Popper's contribution to epistemology and, later, on the role of the Darwinian theory of evolution in the development of a vision of science as a generator of theories and progress through the deductive method.En este ensayo se exponen las ideas de Karl Popper en torno al problema de la verdad, la objetividad, la falsación y la lógica deductiva, y cómo estas se relacionan con la teoría de la evolución darwiniana. Se defenderá la idea del carácter evolutivo de las ideas popperianas sobre el conocimiento, en general, y el conocimiento científico en particular, con atención especial en cómo la teoría de la evolución de Darwin juega un papel muy importante en el desarrollo de una epistemología evolutiva popperiana.
