For example, it is the way of knowing yourself that Anselmo considers in «El Proslogion». On this, ethics is comprehended by how much you know yourself; and about ethics that are brought by intrinsically motivation.La pregunta general que guía este artículo es: ¿qué hacemos con el deber hacia otros? Es decir, la preocupación es por el tema ético, pero en el contexto anterior a la modernidad. Antes de preguntarnos por la manera de vivir bien (como deber hacia otros), es fundamental la revisión de la cuestión ¿quién soy yo? Por ejemplo, es la vía del autoconocimiento que Anselmo considera en el Proslogion.
