[1] This paper analyzes the performance of an Intranet on a corporate network (in this case it was considered the network of a bank), through an analysis of usage statistics and measurement techniques and simulation with achieve results at particular level and general level. Las Intranets proporcionan algunas de las tecnologías más poderosas y económicas desde el invento del teléfono. Aunque simples en su arquitectura, las intranets tienen el potencial de cambiar la forma en que la gente trabaja, aprende y procesa información, razón por la cual han tenido un gran crecimiento y hoy en día casi todas las empresas cuentan con una.
