This material is inserted into a larger collection showing stylistic, chronological and cultural coherence. This allowed us to identify recurrences and particularities and define its chronological position. So Hualla paragraph punching style, is assigned to the first part of the Late Intermediate Period (PIT 1-3). It also presents a particularity of the cultural component of this society, reflected in a kind of opposition and complements its cultural manifestations.Este estudio discute las menciones que se hacen en la literatura arqueológica acerca de la presencia de un material decorado sobre la base de incisiones y puntos. Para ello se analiza, clasifica y caracteriza una pequeña colección de fragmentos cerámicos procedentes de Huallamarca. Este material se inserta a una colección mayor que muestra coherencia estilística, cronológica y cultural. Ello nos permitió identificar sus recurrencias y particularidades, así como definir su posición cronológica. Entonces, el estilo Hualla inciso punzonado, es asignado a la primera parte del Período Intermedio Tardío (PIT 1-3).
