Despite the difficulties encountered and the lack of communication channels, because the government breached its promise to build a road to the area, this group of settlers arrived to Pozuzo persevered through their own efforts, finally the colony was thriving because of tenacity and resolve of the settlers and their descendantsA mediados del siglo xix, el Gobierno peruano auspició la inmigración europea con el fin de poblar y colonizar la región amazónica vinculándola así a la economía nacional, uno de estos grupos de migrantes fueron colonos alemanes y tiroleses que vinieron a mediados del siglo xix al Perú para instalarse en el Pozuzo.
