The orange pulp presented 7.4% crude protein (CP), 14.9% crude fibre (CF), 3.8% ether extract, 5.1% mineral matter, 4308 kcal/kg of gross energy and 385.76 mg polyphenols per 100 g of citrus pulp. CP levels decreased as the inclusion level of citrus pulp increased (16.77 to 17.85%), while the dry matter digestibility percentage increased with higher pulp inclusion levels. It is concluded that up to 30% of citrus pulp can be included in rabbit feed as a substitute for commercial concentrate without affecting nutrient digestibility.El estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar las composición nutricional y digestibilidad in vitro en conejos de un alimento peletizado usando pulpa cítrica como sustituto de un alimento convencional. Se utilizaron 24 conejos adultos (>80 días) distribuidos en cuatro tratamientos (0, 10, 20 y 30%) con seis repeticiones. El periodo experimental fue de 12 días (7 para el periodo de adaptación y 5 para la colecta de heces). La pulpa de naranja presentó 7.4% de proteína bruta (PB), 14.9% de fibra cruda (FC), 3.8% de extracto etéreo, 5.1% de materia mineral, 4308 kcal/kg de energía bruta y 385.76 mg de polifenoles por 100 g de pulpa cítrica. Los niveles de PB disminuyeron a medida que aumentaba el nivel de inclusión de la pulpa cítrica (16.77 a 17.85%), mientras que el porcentaje de digestibilidad de la materia seca aumentó con mayores niveles de inclusión de pulpa.
