Through the qualitative approach and the explanatory method, the paper exposes a set of approaches based on the ostensive-inferential events of textual interpretation applied to conventional and non-conventional acts of language with emphasis on the pragmatic view of discourse that prioritizes the contextual effect of the phenomenon of communication through overt and assumed acts within linguistic interaction. Thus, on a representative sample of fifty-seven texts contained in the Tradiciones de doña Clorinda Matto de Turner, the analysis of the levels of discourse interpretation was carried out by resorting to the complex functioning of the cognitive processes that regulate language comprehension. Thus, this study provides new ways that contribute to the understanding of the relevant contents of literary communication by resorting to the linguistic interaction between speaker (writer) and listener (reader) who actively exchange and infer messages to enrich the cognitive level at a low interpretative cost. |
