For this purpose I want to take into account the profound and positive message of the word of Gandhi, a wise man rich in humanity who, in lapidary phrases, points out the real paths of true social transformation, especially for a country with such political and social instability as the our. Methodologically, it is an essay of analysis and interpretation of selected phrases from Mahatma Gandhi’s well-known texts, orienting them to the reality of our nation.El presente artículo es un ejercicio de pensar nuestro futuro como país dentro del marco opresivo de la pandemia global del Covid 19 y en el dintel de la celebración del bicentenario de la independencia, como una puerta hacia un futuro distinto. Con este propósito quiero tener en cuenta el mensaje profundo y positivo de la palabra de Gandhi, hombre sabio y rico en humanidad que en frases lapidarias señala los caminos reales de transformación social verdadera, en especial para un país con tanta inestabilidad política y social como el nuestro.
