The present interdisciplinary analysis, reveals the precarious oral health and paleopathology that affected these individuals, which allowed to identify, for this región of Peru, the first reports and evolution of dental paleopathology that until now have been affecting humanity.En un contexto funerario, los restos humanos que mejor estado de conservación presentan al paso del tiempo y de los que más información se puede obtener relacionado al modo de vida, procesos patológicos, hábitos alimenticios, perfiles de salud bucal, inmunidad y prácticas culturales, de un individuo, son los restos óseos y las piezas dentales. El presente análisis interdisciplinario realizado en 17 individuos, procedentes de las excavaciones realizadas en el sitio arqueológico de Yuthu, revela el precario perfil de salud bucodental y paleopatologías dentales que afectaban a estos individuos.
