description The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between motivation and teleworking of personnel at a Peruvian public institution in 2024. The methodology used in the study had a non-experimental approach with a quantitative, applied method, which due to its scope, is descriptive and correlational. The study population consisted of public servants of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Peru. A questionnaire was used to collect quantitative data, which was applied to a sample of 49 teleworkers. Regarding the reliability of the instrument, a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.870 was obtained, and for external validity, three experts with a doctoral degree were consulted. The questionnaire was composed of a total of 31 items in a Likert scale. The results showed that a high percentage (46.7 %) of those surveyed indicated that the motivational level increased when the institution implemented the teleworking modality. Likewise, it was found that the highest number of teleworking authorizations were for health reasons. The main conclusion was that there is a highly significant relationship between motivation and teleworking among the Public Prosecutor’s Office personnel. However, the institution’s digital skills training is necessary to strengthen personnel skills and provide them with appropriate tools to effectively perform their duties.
