In this paper, we present a inventory of the flora and vegetation associated Puya raimondii stands. Intensive botanical collections were carried out in Huarochirí, during wet and dry seasons of 2016 and 2017 years. A total of 172 species grouped in 114 genera and 51 families were registered. The families most diverse were Asteraceae (44 species), Poaceae (23), Brassicaceae (8) and Fabaceae (8). Growth habits dominant were herbs (81.4%) and bushes (17.4%). Cerro Piño-Huaquinanchi stand had 74% of the total flora, Huajlasana 67.5% and the Pacchapuquio stand 61%. There were 16 endemic species of Peru; additionally, nine species were categorized by Peruvian legislation and three by IUCN. Finally, 45 new records were registered for Lima region, evidencing the lack of botanical inventories in the high Andean regions and the need to continue carrying out studies in high mountain ecosystems.La Puya raimondii Harms es una especie endémica de los andes de Perú y Bolivia, distribuida en poblaciones conocidas como rodales entre los 3500 y 4800 msnm; dentro de su distribución conocida, esta puede ser localiza en el distrito de Huarochirí, teniendo preferencia por terrenos rocosos con pendientes moderadas a muy fuertes. Durante la época húmeda y seca de los años 2016 y 2017 se realizaron colectas botánicas intensivas en los rodales de Huarochirí, con la finalidad de conocer la flora y vegetación asociada a estos importantes ecosistemas. Se registraron en total 172 especies agrupadas en 113 géneros y 51 familias, donde las familias más diversas fueron Asteraceae (44 especies), Poaceae (23), Brassicaceae (8) y Fabaceae (8). Las formas de vida dominantes fueron las hierbas con el 81.4% y los arbustos con el 17.4%. El rodal de Cerro piño-Huaquinanchi albergó el 74% de la flora total, le sigue Huajlasana con el 67.5% y el rodal de Pacchapuquio con el 61%. Se registraron 16 especies endémicas para el Perú, además de nueve especies categorizadas por la legislación peruana y tres por la UICN.
