Then, there is not properly a "natural resource curse", but a consequence from the institutional quality of countries on the administration of their income.La presente investigación trata de determinar cuál es el efecto que ejerce la calidad institucional sobre el aprovechamiento del acervo de dotación de recursos naturales, a través de un panel anual para 18 países de América La­tina en el periodo de 1996-2011.
