Next, the theory of multivalued functions was studied, specifically semicontinuity, both superiorly and inferiorly. Finally, using the General Theorem of multivalued functions, the necessary conditions are determined for the multivalued function, F : [0, 1]-->[0, 1] × [0, 1] to admit the construction of the selection of Peano.En el presente artículo se presentan las condiciones necesarias para que una función multivaluada permita definir una selección de Peano. Para lograrlo se hizo una revisión bibliográfica sobre resultados generales de espacios topológicos compactos, conjuntos abiertos, cerrados y continuidad. Para luego abordar los mismos temas, pero sobre espacios métricos. Enseguida se estudió lo concerniente a la teoría de funciones multivaluadas, específicamente la semicontinuidad, tanto superior como inferiormente.
