If the struggle for recognition is the consequence of moral wrongs, the vindication of the values denied to the aggrieved is the objective. However, recognition posed in this way implies recognizing and subjecting the subject within a hegemonic value order. Only then, we can question whether the rupture or the reproduction of the ideological order indicates the limit of the critical potential of Honneth’s recognition theory. This article tries to answer this question.El presente artículo problematiza el reconocimiento en el planteamiento de Axel Honneth al llevarlo a debate con la teoría de la ideología de Louis Althusser. Si la lucha por el reconocimiento es la consecuencia del agravio moral, la reivindicación de los valores negados a los agraviados es el objetivo. Sin embargo, el reconocimiento planteado así implica reconocer al sujeto dentro del orden valorativo hegemónico y sujetar al sujeto. Entonces, podemos cuestionar si ¿la ruptura o reproducción del orden ideológico señalan el límite del potencial crítico de la teoría del reconocimiento honnethiano?
