In this paper, the implication of two fundamental concepts in the text of the Convention will be covered from a legalpolitical perspective: the legal definition of child and the best interest of the child.El pasado 4 de septiembre, se cumplieron 26 años de la ratificación de la Convención Internacional de los Derechos del Niño por parte del Perú. Desde esa fecha, el Estado peruano fortaleció su compromiso con la protección y promoción de los derechos de la infancia.
