Further exploration of the impact of digital badge programs is required, using an experimental methodology. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo promover la participación de un grupo de estudiantes del cursosemipresencial Comportamiento Organizacional (Instituto de Educación Superior IDAT, Lima-Perú) en sus actividades virtuales, a partir de la implementación de un programa de insignias digitales en la plataforma virtual de la institución. Los resultados indican que hubo un porcentaje de participaciones de 94,6%, el cual fue mayor por 61,2% en comparación con otro curso del mismo grupo de estudiantes y mayor por 24,51% en comparación con las participaciones de todos los demás cursos del mismo periodo. Además, se aplicó una encuesta a los estudiantes sobre su experiencia en dicho programa.
