We used two instruments with validity and reliability for data compilation, which were the Check List Social Skills of Goldstein adapted nationally by Tomas (1995), and the Questionnaire of Aggression of Buss and Perry adapted to our environment by Matalinares et al. (2012). Likewise, 71 students from 4th grade of secondary school participated. To process the results, Spearman’s Rho statistic was used and the value of -, 374 ** was found and the significance value is 0.001, being less than 0.05, which indicates that there is a significant, negative and low correlation. Finally, it is concluded that, at a higher level of social skills, lower levels of aggressiveness or at lower levels of social skills, higher levels of aggressiveness. La investigación tuvo por objetivo general identificar la relación que existe entre habilidades sociales y agresividad en estudiantes de 4to.. de secundaria de una Institución Educativa de Lima. En el ámbito metodológico, se empleó el enfoque cuantitativo, el método hipotético deductivo, tipo de investigación básica, nivel descriptivo correlacional y el diseño no experimental de corte transversal. Para la recolección de datos, se utilizó dos instrumentos válidos y confiables como la Lista de Chequeo de Habilidades Sociales de Goldstein, adaptado a nivel nacional por Tomas (1995) y el Cuestionario de Agresividad de Buss y Perry, adaptado a nuestro medio por Matalinares et al. (2012). Asimismo, participaron 71 estudiantes de 4to.. de secundaria. Para procesar los resultados, se utilizó el estadístico Rho de Spearman y se encontró el valor de -,374** y el valor de significancia es de 0.001, siendo menor a 0.05, lo que indica que existe una correlación significativa, negativa y baja.
