Descripción
Sumario:The use of cellular equipment is a great daily need, but this can generate a health risk, which is why the need to determine the frequency of enterobacteria in these equipment, 52 cellular equipment from students at the National University were evaluated. Intercultural Fabiola Salazar Leguía – Bagua. The surface swab technique was used on both sides of the cell phones, the isolation medium was Mac Conkey Agar, and biochemical tests were performed to identify the species of enterobacteria. Of 52 cell kits evaluated, 22 (42.3%) were positive for Enterobacteriaceae. 30.8% of the positive cell phones correspond to male students and 11.5% to female students. The most frequent enterobacteria species were Citrobacter freundii with 36.4%, Salmonella sp. with 27.2% and Enterobacter aerogenes, Shigella sp., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae each with 9,1%. It was concluded that there is a high probability of having pathogenic bacterial species in cellular equipment and that they can be harmful to people's health.
