El objetivo es determinar los niveles de control glicémico en pacientes diabéticos atendidos en un centro médico privado en un área urbana de Lima, Perú durante el año 2020. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, de una muestra de 168 pacientes con edades igual o mayor de 39 años con diagnóstico y en tratamiento de diabetes mellitus por 1 año a más. Entre los resultados tenemos que el promedio de hemoglobina glucada en la población estudiada es de 7,78%.
