Two instruments were applied: the adapted SERVQUAL measurement model (22 items) and the service quality measurement model (14 items). Results. The hypothesis was inferred using Spearman's nonparametric rho test. A result of p = 0.01 was obtained to contrast the general hypothesis. Therefore, the correlation was significant enough to accept h1 and reject h0, formulated at the beginning of the research. Conclusion. There is a very strong positive correlation between the SERVQUAL measurement model and the quality of service as perceived by the parents of a private institution in the province of Ica.Objetivo. Determinar la relación que existe entre el modelo de medición SERVQUAL y la calidad del servicio en una institución educativa particular de Ica (Perú), durante el 2022. Metodos. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, siendo una investigación de tipo aplicada. La poblacion fueron 31 padres. Fueron aplicados dos instrumentos: el modelo de medición SERVQUAL adaptado (22 ítems) y el de medición de la calidad del servicio (14 ítems). Resultados. Se hizo la inferencia de la hipótesis mediante la prueba no paramétrico rho de Spearman. Se obtuvo un resultado de p = 0,01 para contrastar la hipótesis general. Por consiguiente, la correlación fue significativa como para aceptar la h1 y rechazar la h0, formuladas al inicio de la investigación. Conclusión.
