This descriptivecorrelational study, includes students of the fourteen faculties. The sample was determined with 435 students users of the university dining room with the condition of low economic resources. The concept of subjective wellfare is closely linked to quality of life, which for being multidimensional covers a variety of áreas such as perception of the physical, mental and social wellfare, feelings of satisfaction and gratificaron associated with health, family, economic situation, educational opportunities, self-esteem, creativity and confidence in others. The goal is to ensure and protect the formation of the future professional, who will be responsible for the production of goods and services to society; study the professional potential of young people would mean a great help for the development of legitímate aspirations, search for wellfare and/or the increasein quality of life.La presente investigación busca explicar la relación entre resiliencia, el soporte social familiar y el bienestar psicológico de los estudiantes con escasos recursos económicos que ingresan a la Universidad Nacional "Hermilio Valdizán", dichas categorías en estudio son esenciales para un óptimo desarrollo de la salud mental dentro de una etapa evolutiva de búsqueda de un proyecto de vida. Este estudio descriptivo-correlacional, comprende a los estudiantes las catorce facultades, se determinó la muestra de 435 alumnos usuarios del Comedor Universitario con la condición de bajos recursos económicos. El concepto de bienestar subjetivo está íntimamente ligado a calidad de vida, el que por ser multidimensional cubre una variedad de áreas tales como percepción del bienestar físico, mental y social, sentimientos de satisfacción y gratificación vinculados con la salud, familia, situación económica, oportunidades educacionales, autoestima, creatividad y confianza en los demás.
