The research design was non-experimental and transversal. The study population consisted of 14 teachers; Likewise, the sample was population-based because 100% of the members were taken because they were very small. The survey technique was used, the instruments of which were the "Management Skills Questionnaire" and the "Teacher Performance Questionnaire", which were validated through expert judgment. On the other hand, the data processing was carried out with the help of the statistical program SPSS version 22 and the Excel 2013 program, which were presented in tables and graphs with their respective interpretations. The main conclusion that has been achieved is that there is a very high correlation between the variables managerial skills and teacher performance. On the other hand, the coefficient of determination R ^ 2 = 0.887 indicates that 88.70% of respondents indicate teacher performance depends on management skills. There is also a relationship between the dimensions of the leadership skills variable and teacher performance, the results being: 0.940; 0.793; 0.916 and 0.942 respectively.El objetivo general planteado en esta investigación fue probar que existe correlación entre las habilidades directivas y el desempeño laboral docente en la Institución Educativa Nº32043 de Páucar-Amarilis 2019. La presente investigación empleó el tipo y nivel de investigación básica y descriptiva correlacional. El diseño de investigación fue no experimental y transversal. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 16 docentes; asimismo, la muestra fue poblacional porque se tomó al 100% de los integrantes por ser muy pequeña. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta, cuyos instrumentos fueron el “Cuestionario de habilidades directivas” y el “Cuestionario de desempeño docente”, los cuales fueron validados a través del juicio de expertos. Por otra parte, el procesamiento de datos fue realizado con la ayuda del programa estadístico SPSS versión 22 y el programa Excel 2013, los cuales fueron presentados en tablas y gráficos con sus respectivas interpretaciones. La conclusión principal que se ha logrado es que existe una correlación muy alta entre las variables habilidades directivas y el desempeño docente. Por otra parte, el coeficiente de determinación R^2=0,887, indica que el 88,70% de los encuestados señalan el desempeño docente depende de las habilidades directivas.
