The identified species correspond to Eupeodes (Metasyrphus) sp., Allograpta sp., Platycheirus (Carposcalis) chalconotus (Philippi, 1865), Toxomerus sp. and Eristalis bogotensis Macquart, 1842.Se registra la presencia de cinco especies de Syrphidae en el Campus universitario de la Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco (UNSAAC), Perú. La colección se realizó empleando red entomológica y aspirador. Las identificaciones se lograron empleando claves especializadas. Lasabundancias de las cinco especies encontradas fueron evaluadas en cuatro sectores del campus.
