When there is environmental education in the population, then the awareness towards the implementation of programs and projects is more adequate, the exchange of knowledge dialogues is responsible and community participation becomes a priority. Th e objective of the study was to describe environmental education in ecological restoration. Ethical and axiological questions are assessed in the relationship between environmental education and ecological restoration. Likewise, it is indicated from the conceptualization of environmental economics and ecological economics, a new base infl uence to make environmental education responsible for ecological restoration. Environmental education as a process suggests the obligation to show awareness towards the care of natural resources, while ecological restoration again facilitates ecosystem services. It is concluded that environmental education in ecological restoration promotes interest in the interdependence and interconnection with natural resources efficiently. Together, they contribute to the well-being and sustainable enjoyment of the unitary values of each resource as a heritage of natural identity.El sistema educativo tiene la obligación de formar a personas responsables con el cuidado y la preservación de los ecosistemas. Cuando existe educación ambiental en la población, entonces la conciencia hacia la implementación de programas y proyectos resultan más adecuada, el intercambio de diálogos de saberes es responsable y la participación comunitaria se convierte en prioridad. El objetivo del estudio fue describir la educación ambiental en la restauración ecológica. Se valoran interrogantes éticas y axiológicas en la relación entre la educación ambiental y la restauración ecológica. Asimismo, se indica desde la conceptualización de la economía ambiental y la economía ecológica, una nueva influencia de base para responsabilizar a la educación ambiental en la restauración ecológica. La educación ambiental como proceso sugiere la obligación de mostrar conciencia hacia el cuidado de los recursos naturales, mientras que la restauración ecológica facilita nuevamente, los servicios ecosistémicos. Se concluye, que la educación ambiental en la restauración ecológica promueve el interés a la interdependencia e interconexión con los recursos naturales de manera eficiente. De manera conjunta, contribuye al bienestar y goce sostenible hacia los valores unitarios de cada recurso como patrimonio de identidad natural.Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal.
