Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this research was to examine how Technology Management as a Study variable applied to a Smart City Strategic Functional Unit (UEF) should be implemented in the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima (MML), to achieve that the solutions of smart city have a prospective vision and do not become obsolete in a short time. The sample consisted of 45 municipalities of the city of Lima, whose designated representatives were evaluated using a Likert scale questionnaire of their own authorship. The study has a qualitative approach, and due to its scope, it is descriptive, correlational and explanatory. The Study is considered prospective in nature because the responses of the officials who would lead future smart cities reflect the current perception of those surveyed, influenced by their experience and specialization, regarding the implementation of smart city UEF functions with Management principles. Technological (which we will call technological UEF). The statistical results using Spearman's Rho test verified that a technological UEF has a significant influence on a Smart City, which was also corroborated in the analysis of the information that seeks to determine the way to implement a smart city UEF, concluding that it must have specialized technological functions for diagnosis, planning, acquisition, improvements, and control and evaluation.
