This theoretical study analyzes from an ontological perspective the discovery of a new student and a new teacher. A student with the exercise of subjective awareness in teaching and a teacher with greater efficiency overcoming the barriers of inequality through the pedagogy of dialogue and the cultivation of the critical conscience of the student with the purpose of dignifying the student through his agent role in teaching activities that is currently denied. In addition, some discussions are established, practical solutions to achieve a change in education and teaching.En el centenario del nacimiento de Paulo Freire, la interpretación de la opresión y la liberación en Pedagogía del oprimido todavía tiene un valor humano a través de las culturas, el espacio y el tiempo, e inspira a los educadores a repensar la enseñanza, pues la conciencia subjetiva de los estudiantes está oscurecida desde una perspectiva ontológica. Este estudio teórico analiza desde esta perspectiva el descubrimiento de un nuevo estudiante y un nuevo docente: un estudiante con ejercicio de la conciencia subjetiva en la enseñanza y un docente con mayor eficacia, que supera las barreras de la desigualdad mediante la pedagogía del diálogo y el cultivo de la conciencia crítica del estudiante con el propósito de dignificarlo a través de su rol agente en las actividades de enseñanza, que le es negado en la actualidad.
