It is necessary to analyze politics as art or science in the pretense of guiding the group or the people towards happiness, which, by Aristotelian theoretical definition, is its end and the one who must govern is the Platonic virtuous man. In this case, those who should guide the people with what bases and philosophical discussions we are guided in this regard and if these qualities and / or virtues are possessed by our rulers. This analysis is done under the mirror of the parents of Western culture: Plato and Aristotle. The philosophers referred to have given theoretical bases of who or who should govern, prior development of certain virtues in the rulers. Whose supreme goal is to guide the happiness of the people who govern.La política es ineludible en la actividad humana siendo el grado superior de desarrollo del hombre en la polis. Es necesario analizar la política como arte o ciencia en la pretensión de guiar al grupo o al pueblo hacia la felicidad que por definición teórica aristotélica es su fin y el quien debe gobernar es el hombre virtuoso platónico. En tal caso quienes deben guiar al pueblo con que bases y discusiones filosóficas nos guiamos al respecto y si éstas cualidades y/o virtudes lo poseen nuestros gobernantes. El presente análisis se hace bajo el espejo de los padres de la cultura occidental: Platón y Aristóteles. Los filósofos referidos han dado bases teóricas de quién o quienes deben gobernar, previo desarrollo de ciertas virtudes en los gobernantes. El fin supremo es la de guiar hacia la felicidad del pueblo que se gobierna.A política é inescapável na atividade humana, sendo o mais alto grau de desenvolvimento do homem na pólis. É necessário analisar a política como arte ou ciência na pretensão de orientar o grupo ou o povo para a felicidade, que por definição teórica aristotélica é seu fim, e quem deve governar é o homem virtuoso platônico. Em tal caso, quem deve orientar o povo sobre que bases filosóficas e discussões somos guiados a esse respeito e se essas qualidades e/ou virtudes são possuídas por nossos governantes. A presente análise é feita sob o espelho dos pais da cultura ocidental: Platão e Aristóteles. Os filósofos acima mencionados deram bases teóricas de quem deve governar, após o desenvolvimento de certas virtudes nos governantes.
