From the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ways in which this framework has been expressed are identified, mainly in Mexican museum spaces, and how the interest in textiles has evidenced four axes of approach: The relationship text/weaving from the etymological point of view, Weaving/embroidering stories and the stories of weaving/embroidery, Weaving and embroidery in relation to gender, Teaching and transmission of textile activities.En este texto se abordan las complejas relaciones entre texto y el tejido, que ha rebasado claramente la alusión etimológica, para abrir todo un campo de reflexión desde el á´mbito educativo y pedag´ógico.
