The second section analyzes the main features of the media coverage that the mass media have given to the subject of violence. The third section examines the elements of "information" and "entertainment" that are present in the news about crime and terrorist events.El presente estudio examina la relación medios y violencia a nivel del debate político y de los contenidos informativos. El trabajo tiene tres secciones centrales. En la primera se examina cómo se ha construido el debate sobre medios y violencia en el periodo posterior a la instalación del gobierno democrático, identificando los planteamientos de los principales actores que han intervenido en su desarrollo. En la segunda sección se analizan los principales rasgos de la cobertura informativa que los medios masivos han dado al tema de la violencia. En la tercera sección se examinan los elementos de "información" y "entretención" que están presentes en las noticias sobre hechos delictuales y terroristas.Universidad de Lima.
