description Objective. To establish the relationship between formative research and scientific attitude of students of the School of Education Sciences. Methods. The type of study was cross-sectional, at a relational level. The study population comprised 71 teachers and 233 students, while the sample consisted of 54 participants. It was obtained through a non-probabilistic and intentional sampling. Study units were selected among students of the last 4 semesters from both campuses in Huanuco and Tingo Maria of the same University, during the academic year 2014-II. Two questionnaires —of attitudes and opinions of 30 items—were applied to obtain final values of variables under study. It was based on a Likert scale with an assessment of 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. Therefore, they meant always, almost always, sometimes, almost never and never respectively. The first questionnaire was applied to determine the level of scientific attitude acquired by 2 students during their professional training. The second questionnaire was applied to a sample comprised of teachers to determine the level of formative research that they promote in the students. Statistical dispersion and a correlation coefficient called Pearson’s chi-squared test were used for analysis and data interpretation. Results. There is a positive correlation, but not necessarily strong, due to several factors that influence the professional and didactic profile of teachers and the habits of rigorous research in students. Conclusion. In conclusion, scores achieved by teachers determine students’ scores during their professional training.

Establecer la relación entre la investigación formativa y la actitud científica de los estudiantes de la Facultad Ciencias de la Educación. Métodos. El tipo de estudio fue transversal, de nivel relacional, la población fue 71 docentes y 233 estudiantes, mientras que la muestra estuvo conformada por 54 participantes; la misma que fue obtenida a través de un muestreo no probabilístico e intencional. Las unidades de estudio fueron seleccionadas entre los estudiantes de los 4 últimos ciclos de las sedes que la universidad tiene en Huánuco y Tingo María, durante el año académico 2014-II. Para obtener los valores finales de las variables en estudio se aplicaron dos cuestionarios de actitudes y opiniones de 30 reactivos, en base a una escala de Likert con una valoración de 5, 4, 3, 2 y 1 para las categorías siempre, casi siempre, a veces, casi nunca y nunca respectivamente. El primer cuestionario se aplicó para determinar el nivel de actitud científica adquirida por los estudiantes durante su formación profesional y el segundo instrumento se aplicó a la muestra conformada por los docentes para determinar el nivel de investigación formativa que estos promueven en los estudiantes. Para el análisis e interpretación de datos se utilizaron, los estadígrafos de dispersión y el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson y la prueba de Chi-cuadrada. Resultados. Existe una correlación positiva, pero no necesariamente fuerte, debido a varios factores que influyen en el perfil profesional y didáctico del docente y los hábitos de investigación rigurosa en los estudiantes. Conclusión. Se concluye que los puntajes alcanzados por los docentes condicionan al de los estudiantes durante su formación profesional.Objetivo. Estabelecer a relação entre a pesquisa formativa e a atitude científica dos estudantes da Faculdade de Ciências da Educação. Métodos. O tipo de estudo era transversal, de nível relacional, a população era de 71 professores e 233 alunos, enquanto a amostra consistia de 54 participantes; o mesmo que foi obtido através de uma amostragem não-probabilística e intencional. As unidades de estudo foram selecionadas entre os estudantes dos últimos 4 ciclos das filiais da universidade em Huánuco e Tingo María, durante o ano acadêmico de 2014-II. Para obter os valores finais das variáveis em estudo, foram aplicados dois questionários de atitudes e opiniões de 30 itens, com base em uma escala Likert com classificação de 5, 4, 3, 2 e 1 para as categorias sempre, quase sempre, às vezes, quase nunca e nunca respectivamente. O primeiro questionário foi aplicado para determinar o nível de atitude científica adquirida pelos estudantes durante sua formação profissional e o segundo instrumento foi aplicado à amostra de professores para determinar o nível de pesquisa formativa que eles promovem em seus estudantes. Para a análise e interpretação dos dados, foram utilizadas as estatísticas de dispersão, o coeficiente de correlação de Pearson e o teste do qui-quadrado. Resultados. Há uma correlação positiva, mas não necessariamente forte, devido a vários fatores que influenciam o perfil profissional e didático do professor e os rigorosos hábitos de pesquisa dos alunos. Conclusão.
