These sessions were based on the most important needs of the students. A control group was considered to which no personal coaching session was applied. A survey was used as an instrument. The results allowed establishing that there is a positive development of skills through personal coaching.La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de establecer el nivel de desarrollo de las habilidades sociales por medio del coaching personal en los estudiantes de décimo ciclo de la Escuela de Lingüística de la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo en el año 2019. En este sentido, el método experimental y cuantitativo consistió en siete sesiones a 35 estudiantes del grupo experimental. Dichas sesiones se basaron en las necesidades más importantes de los estudiantes. Se consideró un grupo de control, al que no se le aplicó ninguna sesión de coaching personal. Se utilizó una encuesta como instrumento.
