Likewise, the research was developed under a basic research type, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The Lima Happiness Scale (EFL) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) were used as instruments. According to the results, it was identified that there is a relationship between happiness and personal fulfillment (rs = .277**; p<.05), personal fulfillment in women (rs = .293**; p<.05), emotional exhaustion in married people (rs= -.316; p<.05) and personal fulfillment in nurses (rs = .367**; p<.05). Also, the levels with the highest predominance of happiness were the medium and low levels with 25.49% each. Finally, in relation to burnout syndrome, a low level (48.04%) was evidenced in the emotional exhaustion dimension, a low level (50.98%) in the depersonalization dimension and a high level (58.82%) in the self-fulfillment dimension. In conclusion, there is a relationship between happiness and burnout syndrome.El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre felicidad y síndrome de burnout en profesionales de salud en un hospital nacional de Lima Metropolitana en tiempo de pandemia. Para ello, se tuvo una muestra de 102 profesionales de la salud de un Hospital Nacional ubicado en Lima Metropolitana. Asimismo, la investigación de desarrolló bajo un tipo de investigación básica, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y tipo correlacional. Como instrumentos se utilizó la Escala de Felicidad de Lima (EFL) y el Inventario de burnout de Maslach (MBI). De acuerdo con los resultados, se identificó que existe una relación entre felicidad y realización personal (rs = .277**; p<.05), realización personal en mujeres (rs = .293**; p<.05), cansancio emocional en casados (rs= -.316; p<.05) y realización personal en enfermeros (rs = .367**; p<.05). También, los niveles con mayor predominancia de felicidad fueron el nivel medio y bajo con un 25.49% cada uno. Finalmente, en relación al síndrome de burnout, se evidenció un nivel bajo (48.04%) en la dimensión de cansancio emocional, un nivel bajo (50.98%) en la dimensión de despersonalización y un nivel alto (58.82%) en la dimensión de realización personal.
