The general objective of the research is to determine the level of knowledge of the concept of quality and occupational safety that the staff of the higher level schools and faculties belonging to the Autonomous University of Coahuila in the city of Monclova, Mexico has in a context of pandemic, studying the teaching, administrative and manual population of these institutions. A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional research was carried out. A population of 169 people belonging to the schools and faculties of the UAdeC in Monclova was surveyed, where 93.5% were found to have a positive level of knowledge about the concept of occupational safety, while the remaining 6.5% were found to have a negative level. The institutions studied have a good culture of safety and work quality, providing their members with the necessary instruments for physical care and well-being.La calidad y la seguridad laboral son dos pilares imprescindibles dentro de cualquier organización. Son factores que se encargan de salvaguardar la integridad de los colaboradores, además de proporcionarles una vida laboral plena y digna para que los trabajadores puedan tener un desarrollo profesional eficiente. El objetivo general de la investigación es determinar el nivel de conocimiento del concepto de calidad y seguridad laboral con el que cuenta el personal de las escuelas y facultades de nivel superior pertenecientes a la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila en la ciudad de Monclova, México en un contexto de pandemia, estudiando a la población docente, administrativa y manual de estas instituciones. Se realizó una investigación de tipo descriptivo no experimental-transversal. Se encuestó a una población de 169 personas pertenecientes a las escuelas y facultades de la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila en la ciudad de Monclova, donde el 93.5% se encontró en nivel positivo de conocimiento acerca del concepto de seguridad laboral, mientras que el 6.5% restante se halló en un nivel negativo.
