Its application allowed to know the levels of resilience that the university student has and how it influences along with the tutorial orientation, in the process of the perception of competences. Finally, the conclusions reached is that students with a higher level of resilience, the greater the perception of competencies; it means, they are associated, while the tutorial orientation and the perception of competence are in an independent relationship, because the first does not apply in the training of the university student.La presente investigación busca establecer cómo se presenta la relación entre resiliencia, orientación tutorial y percepción de competencia en estudiantes universitarios de una universidad pública de Lima Metropolitana. Para alcanzar dicho objetivo se construyeron tres instrumentos de medición para la recolección de datos: cuestionario de resiliencia, cuestionario de orientación tutorial y cuestionario de percepción de competencias, cumpliendo con los criterios de validez y confiabilidad. Su aplicación permitió conocer los niveles de resiliencia que tiene el estudiante universitario y cómo influye junto con la orientación tutorial, en el proceso de la percepción de competencias.
