The sample was formed by two groups: section B (28 students) and section D (28 students). The data collection was done through the application of the evaluation test. The results obtained allowed us to conclude that the application of the Tocando Construyo Program favorably influenced the development of geometric skills in children in the 2nd grade of primary school.La investigación se desarrolló en un diseño experimental a nivel cuasi experimental con medición pre y postest, en dos grupos de sujetos previamente formados, con el objetivo de determinar la influencia del Programa Tocando Construyo en el desarrollo de las habilidades geométricas en niños del 2º grado de primaria, apoyándose en el método hipotético deductivo. La muestra de conformó por dos grupos: sección B (28 estudiantes) y una sección D (28 estudiantes).
