(1999) and the development of the web platform based on a blog, forum, chat and a wiki, ICT tools. In the post-test analysis, the level of academic performance of the experimental group has improved, since the students obtained averages within the categories of the high and medium academic performance level with 50.00% and 25.00% respectively, while in the control group concentrated the level of medium and low academic performance with 58.33% and 33.33% respectively. Significant differences were found in the level of academic performance of the control and experimental group in the post-test.Estudio hipotético deductivo explicativo, con un diseño cuasi experimental, cuyo objetivo fue demostrar, como el modelo de enseñanza - aprendizaje cooperativo usando las TIC contribuye a mejorar el nivel del rendimiento académico en los contenidos: conceptual, procedimental y actitudinal de los alumnos de la Escuela Profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Nacional José María Arguedas (UNAJMA) Se desarrolló el modelo indicado según la metodología de aprendizaje cooperativo planteado por los hermanos Johnson, Johnson y Holubec (1999) y el desarrollo de la plataforma web basado en un blog, foro, chat y un wiki, herramientas TIC. En el análisis de la post-prueba, el nivel del rendimiento académico del grupo experimental ha mejorado, ya que los estudiantes obtuvieron promedios en las categorías del nivel de rendimiento académico alto y medio con un 50.00% y 25.00% respectivamente, mientras que en el grupo control se concentran el nivel de rendimiento académico medio y bajo con 58.33% y 33.33% respectivamente.
