The results obtained were positive, in this sense, the statistical treatment of the results obtained in the pretest and posttest was performed by calculating the measures of central tendency and performing the testing of the hypotheses using comparative data between the pre (9, 08) and post test (15,48), resulting in that the students of the experimental group emigrated to have a good qualifier, whose difference is 6.4 points. It is concluded that the application of didactic strategies based on the use of investigative skills promotes the interest in the study of fifth grade students of the José Leonardo Ortiz Educational Institution of the José Leonardo Ortiz district, 2016, accepting the hypothesis of Investigation, which shows that the investigation is valid.La presente investigación denominada: Estrategia didáctica basada en el uso de habilidades investigativas para promover el interés por el estudio en los estudiantes del quinto grado de secundaria de la institución educativa “José Leonardo Ortiz” de Chiclayo, 2016 , es una investigación de tipo experimental que hace uso de la aplicación de estrategias diversas en aula aplicadas directamente a estudiantes del quinto grado de secundaria para evaluar la efectividad de la aplicación de estrategias didácticas basada en el uso de habilidades investigativas con la intención de promover el interés por el estudio y mejorar significativamente los aprendizaje en matemática a través de la lectura e investigación. Los resultados que se ha obtenido son positivos, en este sentido, se realizó el tratamiento estadístico de los resultados obtenidos en la pre prueba y post prueba calculando las medidas de tendencia central y realizando la contrastación de las hipótesis mediante datos comparativos entre el pre (9,08) y el post test (15,48), obteniendo como resultado que los estudiantes del grupo experimental emigraran a tener un calificativo bueno, cuya diferencia es de 6,4 puntos.
