In order to carry out this process, a survey through Google Forms was used as an instrument aimed at students between 11-18 years of age at the secondary level of a polytechnic located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.Para garantizar que el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje se lleve a cabo aun y con todas las adversidades es necesario que antes de esperar trabajos, prácticas y participaciones excelentes en clases se les enseñe a los alumnos a gestionar sus emociones, lo cual lleva a tener como objetivo de estudio descubrir el impacto de aprender a manejar o gestionar las emociones en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes ante un cambio de metodología educativa, en este caso por cuestiones de la pandemia.
