Scrutiny of both narrative strategies will demonstrate the inoperability of the habitual categories through which the five-novel series has been interpreted, and the complex multiple discursive framework through which the author strives to narrow the distance between the reality described and its textual representation.A partir de los planteamientos de Antonio Cornejo Polar sobre el sujeto y el discurso migrantes, en este artículo se analiza la inestabilidad del narrador de Redoble por Rancas y la autofiguración del autor en La tumba del relámpago, la primera y la última novela del ciclo narrativo La guerra silenciosa del peruano Manuel Scorza.
