The development of our countries in recent decades has been bumpy.Una de las preguntas más perturbadoras en este fin de siglo es "¿qué educación necesitamos hoy?", pero no sólo eso, sino "¿qué educación?", "¿para qué modelo de desarrollo?", porque la educación no está desligada del conjunto de la dimensión política, económica y social de nuestros países. Creo que una tarea verdaderamente impostergable es reflexionar desde la educación sobre ese desarrollo que empieza a tener características muy específicas en esta parte de América.
