In the face of all this, in Latin America we must reaffirm our original realities. In this writing I return to the question of "time". It is not an esoteric matter nor is it worth idealizing the autochthonous, it is rather about strengthening the Amerindian being today and thus walking towards the healthy future of all humanity. In theological terms, it is interesting to see the "history of salvation" with Amerindian eyes and rhythms.En los años y siglos venideros, como católicos latinoamericanos enfrentaremos inmensas exigencias: la globalización económico-cultural y el endémico empobrecimiento, multitudes indiferentes ante lo eclesial, sincretismos, mercado de ofertas religiosas y apertura a mundos asiáticos (que son no sólo mayorías cuantitativas, sino también cualificados interlocutores en la reflexión interreligiosa de la fe). De cara a todo esto, en América Latina cabe reafirmar nuestras realidades originarias. En este escrito retomo la cuestión del "tiempo". No es un asunto esotérico ni vale idealizar lo autóctono, se trata más bien de fortalecer hoy el ser amerindio y así caminar hacia el porvenir saludable de toda la humanidad.
