Originally, the purpose of this article was to be a comparative analysis of the role of the flood in Judeo-Christian culture and that of the Incas.Desde tiempos inmemorables el hombre lleva dentro el deseo de conocer el mundo y las leyes de su funcionamiento. Este deseo de rerum congnoscere causas ha impulsado la creación de mitos, especialmente los mitos sobre el origen del mundo y el origen del hombre, que, en muchos casos, se encuentran unidos. En varias culturas, los mitos de origen incluyen el motivo del diluvio.
