The second statement, more specific, starts from the fact that the combined historical, anthropological and linguistic study of Peruvian society has configured the following evidence: the multicultural nature of our various manifested social activities agrees with the multilingualism that expresses them.Dos enunciados axiomáticos sobre la función de las lenguas en la sociedad nacional, me facilitarán el encaminamiento de las reflexiones anunciadas en el título: el primero nos dice que las lenguas desempeñan siempre un papel importante como cohesionadoras de los grupos sociales culturalmente organizados; ellas representan, gracias a sus respectivos léxicos y a sus sintaxis, el modo regulado cómo esos grupos se hacen inteligibles a sí mismos y comprenden a la realidad que viven.
