Attitudes have changed, but there is still concern about these rituals. Last year a priest asked me: "What should we do about the rites of the peasants: try to remove them or ignore them?"Este número de Allpanchis Phuturinqa tiene como tema central los ritos agrícolas y ganaderos. Estos ritos representan un problema para muchos sacerdotes que trabajan con los campesinos. Son expresiones religiosas diferentes de las que uno encuentra en ciudades como Lima o Roma. Los primeros misioneros en el Perú sufrieron un choque tremendo al encontrar ritos religiosos desconocidos, y muchas veces los asociaron con el diablo. Las actitudes han cambiando, pero todavía existe una preocupación sobre estos ritos.
